About Us
We're Fowler Heating & Air Conditioning, L.L.C., and we've been a premier HVAC contractor in Madison, WI, since 1991. We specialize in HVAC services, sales of equipment, and air conditioning. We offer repairs, installation, and maintenance of furnaces, water heaters, boilers, rooftop units, and much more. We are licensed, bonded, and insured so you can rest assured that the job will be done right the first time. Our Story
Fowler Heating & Air Conditioning was established in 1991 by our owner, Todd Fowler, after working as a contractor in Lake County for more than 25 years. He grew up in the paint industry because his father owned a paint store called The Color Center in Oconomowoc for 50 years and the experience inspired him to start a business of his own. Todd’s experience includes exterior, interior, residential, and commercial contracting work.
As of today, we are a fully-fledged operation with a sizeable crew that is dependable and treats our customers with the utmost respect. We believe that values like excellent customer service and following through on projects you promised to complete should not be undervalued. These attitudes have allowed us to provide the very best service to our community in Madison and we hope to keep your business for the next 25 years and beyond!

Todd and his team have always been wonderful to work with and have done great work for the different projects we have had them work on for us. We knew from the first time we had an issue with our furnace that Todd was the only HVAC team we would use. He came over on Xmas eve diagnosed our induction motor had failed on our furnace. Brought heaters to our house to help us keep our pipes warm. He returned on the 26th, installed the new motor and we were up and running with heat again during a cold December. It was that extra concern and care he showed us that December as to why he and his team are the type of business we want to partner with and support. We can't say enough positive things about Todd and his employees for their honesty, kindness and knowledge in keeping our HVAC systems running. Let Todd and his team take care of your HVAC like they do for ours, you will not regret it!

Troy and Jay installed a mini-split system at our small cottage on lake Waubesa. They did an amazing job. Jay installed the inside unit and centered it exactly where I wanted it. Troy worked on the outside unit and took special care not to damage the plants around it. He even re-aligned the rock boarder for me. Both of these young men are extremely polite, talented, and conscientious. I highly recommend Fowler Heating & Air!

When our A/C went out during a recent hot spell. I texted a friend who is in the business but on the commercial side. I asked him who he would recommend. He recommended Fowler Heating & Air Conditioning. I called their offices after but it was after hours. The answering machine had a message that said If it’s after hours call Todd who is the owner and gave his cell number . So I did . He called back pretty quickly . I had a good conversation with him. He arranged to have a service Rep out in the morning. Joey T came out. It was nice to see a familiar face. (Of all things I see he was the employee of the month this month). He checked everything out and gave us some options. It’s 22 years old so it was basically repair it or replace it. We decided to replace the AC and Furnace. When the crew showed up to do the work they got to work and took care of things. I really appreciate their promptness and the way they handled everything.

On Thursday morning, I inquired about a cooling system quote, from Todd Fowler, as mine was inoperable. within a matter of a few hours, he was at my residence, which I believe was on the outermost fringe of their normal coverage area. I was promptly given a quote for a necessary new cooling system . I was then informed I could be scheduled in for first thing Monday morning. I agreed.
Friday morning, I was contacted by Todd, stating that he had an unexpected schedule change, and he could do my install that day. my response was yes.
His workers were dispatched to my residence , and in just a few hours , I received a call from his workers, asking if they could close up all my windows , and get cooling system working on cooling my home.
I came home to a cool home, and the workmanship was outstanding. From the initial contact , to a complete working install, was less than 24 hours.
